For our Global IT Security Team we are looking for a

Global Information Security Risk Officer (m/f)

Fulltime / in Vienna


In this role, your are accountable for assisting the Information Security Risk Manager in operating the Global Information Security Risk Register in support of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess and formulate a plan to treat internal and external information risks, tracking these risks and associated controls
  • Manage, develop, and maintain the information security risk register, and support continuous improvement of risk management processes
  • Provide advisory support to business functions and IT teams in understanding risk and security considerations of business operations, new projects, and third party suppliers
  • Assist business areas in defining and executing action plans to implement controls
  • Comprehensive Risk Reporting to Senior Management and Board Level
  • Contribute to the definition and maintenance of a practical and comprehensive Risk Management Methodology with supporting tools where appropriate

Your Skills:

  • Completed University degree in Information Security or similar
  • Several years of working experience in the area of Governance, Risk and Compliance
  • Preferably holding a security professional qualification (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA or ISO27001) and a sound legislative awareness (Sarbanes Oxley Act, Data protection acts)
  • Knowledge of information technologies and technical security techniques, such as encryption, authentication, auditing
  • Awareness of data communications and voice techniques associated with consumer and business telecommunications
  • Experience in dealing with complex matters by adopting a pragmatic approach, identifying core requirements from both a security and a business perspective and translating them into simplified activities that address the problem
  • Fluency in English (German is an asset)
